China Trip August 2027
Organizer: Master Liming Yue and Wenli in corporation with Tai Chi Centre UK and local Travel Agency in China.
Duration: Departure on Sunday, 1st August and return on Wednesday, 18th August 2027. The entire Trip is 18 days (17 days inside China and 1 day travelling). Additional stay is available upon request.
Price: The total price without flight tickets is £1980.00 (all inclusive) for early birds so please sort out your own flights, travel insurance and a valid visa (if applicable) to China. The early birds deadline is 31st March 2027. Please contact us prior to booking.
Who can join?: All levels of any style of Tai Chi students, family and friends are also welcome. No Tai Chi and Qigong foundation is required.

The early arrival and late return is available with additional fees. Please inform us of your interest in advance before your booking.
Tai Chi & Qigong Training:
It covers training with Master Wenhua Kuang in Xiangtan on Chen Style Tai Chi Form & Push Hands and Meditation Chanting with Monks from Nanyue Mountain; Training with Master Liming Yue will be all the way through the trip.
Treatment Massage:
We will get the local Tuina and Chinese medical doctors to provide treatments for all injuries and body problems at very competitive price during your stay in Xiangtan city. Please contact Master Liming Yue in advance so the appointment will be scheduled for you.
Tai Chi and Qigong training, Food Taste, Health Treatment and Visiting many of the incredible attractions
China Trip – Tai Chi and Qigong training and Sightseeing – This trip is open to all Tai Chi & Qigong students and their friends to develop a greater understanding of this wonderful art with some of the highest level masters in China. It will include visiting many of the incredible attractions, such as Beijing, Xi’an, Nanyue Mountain and Great Wall are also covered. Training with Master Liming Yue and other Masters are all included. Food Taste and Health Treatments will be another hight light for this Trip plus shopping! Please ask the Centre for further details.

Terms and Conditions
The Terms and Conditions have been changed since last China trip, Please check the details below:
Travel Insurance:
Everybody who wishes to take part in the trip must provide their own valid travel insurance to cover the trip to China and send a copy to Tai Chi Centre by 1st July 2027.
Price and what is included:
The price for the trip is £1,980 (all inclusive). An initial payment of £950 is required to secure a place. The final balance is £1,030. Late booking charge is £150 (this is to cover the additional cost of making late travelling and accommodation bookings). Single supplement fee is £485 per person if applicable (subject to the availability). Additional stay is £135 per day.
An initial payment of £950 is a non-refundable deposit and administration charge, and should be paid upon your reservation . Final balance of £1030 should be paid in full by 31st March 2027. Bookings made after 31st March 2027 requires a £150 late booking surcharge.
Total Payment for the trip includes: Tuition fees for the training with Master Liming Yue, breakfast, main meals (excluding drinks and snack), accommodation, training insurance (subject to individual’s health condition and ages), all transportation (excluding the cable car at the tourism and taxis), and admission fees to all tourist attractions arranged by the trip organizer in China are covered. Travel insurance and visa applications are at your own cost and should be arranged by yourself.
Cancellation
Clients who make cancellation on any confirmed bookings will be liable for the following cancellation charges based on the time when we receive the notice of cancellation in writing.
A. Once booked the trip, the initial payment of £950 is non-refundable.
B. 31-60 days prior to departure date -50% of total cost.
C. 3-30 days prior to departure date -75% of total cost.
D. 3 days or less prior to departure date – 100% of total cost.
E. Early Termination during the Trip – 100% of total cost plus additional fees (such as flight ticket, transportation, administrative work etc..) and subject to availability.
Alteration to Arrangement
If, after acceptance of the booking, the customer alters the confirmed arrangements, an amendment fee of £100 per person plus any communication charges may be charged. If major alteration is required, the booking may be treated as a cancellation to which cancellation charges will apply.
Cancellation by the Tai Chi Centre
We reserve the right to cancel or alter holiday arrangements at any time up to and including the departure date. Full refund of all monies will be made in the event of cancellation. Cancellations will be notified to clients without reasonable delay.
Passport/Visa
Check with your own country local Chinese Embassy if a visa for China is required. For many countries, currently including the UK visa is not required for a stay of less than 30 days. Chinese visa is your own responsibility for people who live in the U.K. wish to stay over 30 days. A visa can be applied for at: http://www.visaforchina.cn
Entry Procedure: Please fill in this Online arrival form prior to the departure.
All clients are themselves responsible for ensuring that they are in possession of a valid passport and applicable visa at all times and places during the journey. Refunds or endorsement can not be claimed by clients who are rejected by local immigration for any reason.
Responsibility
As part of the China Trip Package the Chen Style Tai Chi Centre will arrange standard insurance to cover all the training abroad for all clients. However the Chen Style Tai Chi Centre acts only in the capacity of Agent for the clients in all arrangements. Expressly the Chen Style Tai Chi Centre shall not be liable for any injury, death, accident, loss, damage, or irregularity which may be occasioned by neglect or default of any other company, or additional expenses due to delays or changes in flights, trains, coaches or other services, or because of strike, war, sickness, weather, quarantine or other causes.

For your convenience I have created this documents for your reference regarding to the China Trip as the following:
Visa applications and entry clearance at custom:
The Training Base of Chen Style Tai Chi Centre UK is our official business in China. We have been approved as a valid and recognized invitation person and organizer in China so you can put us down as invitation body in China.
To simplify the visa application form (if you need one) it’s better to apply for F – Visitors visa as Cultural study purpose and indicate it’s yourself to pay for the Trip on the form otherwise so many questions afterwards. Don’t mention about the travel itinerary and only put training and stay in my address in China, Otherwise you have to fill in every single places and transportation on the Trip…. It’s a very complicated process. We will provide your arrival hotel for the first 3 days for easy process purpose.
Please apply for two years multiple entry visa with 60 days per stay and I believe the price is the same but it makes more convenient for the Trip and the future visit if you wish to return to China next year.
Over 30 countries are free of visa to visit China for 30 days so please check this online.
Flights:
The cheapest flights price is coming up around middle of June so please keep eyes on it every day. The price of flights is £600 more or less. Please forward your flight details to me once you bought.
Single Supplements and Extra days:
Single supplement fee is £285 for July 2027 training camp in my house in China.
Single supplement for the Trip in August 2027 is £485.

Free Gold Member to train with us prior to the Trip in China:
Everyone on the Trip will receive a FREE gold membership online and it will be valid until 31st August 2027. Existing gold membership will be upgraded to VIP membership. Please enjoy your time on our website and train with us online. As couple or family are going to the trip we will upgrade the membership to VIP instead.
Please register yourself as a user on www.taichicentre.com and we will update you to Gold member. Please let me know once you registered.
Could you please send me your passport images for the trip? I will issue an invitation letter as official receipt for your visa application if applicable and entry clearance at the custom in China.
Tips for the Trip:

Only 3C verified power bank is allowed in China for flights and trains. Training weapons are available for all training upon request in advance so you don’t need bring any weapons to China.
eSIM for data and VPN functionality is necessary. The Saily eSIM works well in China. Some of the data plans offer VPN coverage too.
Chinese cash is the best way for small purchases. Large purchases can use bank card directly in many shops.
A valid Alipay and WeChat are very useful for the Trip.
WeChat is an important App for everyone travelling in China and it’s the Chinese version of Facebook+PayPal+Uber+Bus Pass+Tube Pass+Bank card all in one.
WhatApps is NOT working in China so we have to move onto Wechat to stay in contact during the trip so move over and join us on WeChat group is recommended.
Drinking Water: Please only use bottled water to drink and make a coffee or tea in the hotel.

Everyone will receive two T-shirts for the trip. They are made to order so please select your size. Please be aware that Chinese size is one size smaller than UK and Europe size. I normally wear M but I need to order L for my China Trip T-shirt.
