China Trip August 2024
Organizer: Tai Chi Centre UK and Changde Travel Agency in China.
Duration: Departure on Friday, 2nd August and return on Saturday, 17th August 2024. The entire Trip is 16 days (15 days inside China and 1 day travelling). Addtional stay is available upon request. As many countries have FREE visa to visit China for 15 days so you may entitle to visit China without a visa. Please check with your local Chinese Embassy for sure.
Price: The total cost is £1850.00 (all inclusive inside China) provide you sort out your own flights (please book your flights to Changsha airport and return from Beijing airport), travel insurance and a valid visa (if apply) to China.
Who can join?: All levels of any style of Tai Chi students, family and friends are also welcome. No Tai Chi and Qigong foundation is required.

Please book your flights from 1st – 3rd August 2024 to arrival at Changsha airport in China at Free of charge and leave Beijing airport on 17th August 2024. The late leave is available with addtional fees. Please inform us your flights details in advance.
Additional training fees:
£60.00 per person covers 3 hours training with Master Chen Bin in the Tai Chi village on Chen Style Tai Chi Form and Push Hands;
£80.00 per person covers 4 hours training with Daoist master on Wudang Tai Chi Form and Application;
Tai Chi and Qigong training, and visiting many of the incredible attractions
China Trip – Tai Chi and Qigong training and Sightseeing – This trip is open to all Tai Chi & Qigong students and their friends to develop a greater understanding of this wonderful art with some of the highest level masters in China. It will include visiting many of the incredible attractions, such as Beijing, Zhangjiajie Forest Park, Shaolin Temple, Tai Chi village, Wudang mountain, and Great Wall are also covered, we will visit the Daoist Temple on Wudang Mountain and join the Temple with early morning chanting. All training with Master Liming Yue and Sergio Terramoto are covered during the Trip and additional training with other Masters is available at extra cost. Please ask the Centre for further details.

UK group will departure from Manchester, London and Edinburgh airport to Changsha Airport via London Heathrow airport or Beijing airport. All participants please book your flights to Changsha airport. There is a direct flight from London Heathrow airport to Changsha airport every Friday by Hainan Airline and you can also get a flight departure from many UK and Europe airports. Edream is highly recommended for everybody to find out your multiple destination flights. Please consult us prior to book your flights. |

Arrive in Changsha airport then take coach to the Hotel in Changde city to relax. Welcome party for all people in the resturant in the evening. All participants are recommended arrival at Changsha airport by 5:00pm. Early or Late arrival is acceptable but please inform us in advance. Early arrival option is available and it is FREE of charge to stay in Master Liming Yue’s house in Xiangtan University upon request. |

Early morning practice with Liming in the Chen Village park, Tai Chi Greeting Ceremony in the Chen Zhenglei Exhibition Hall in the morning hosted by Chen Zhenglei Tai Chi Federation. Followed by visit the museum temple and new Tai Chi Arena Centre.

Terms and Conditions
The Terms and Conditions have been changed since last China trip, Please check the details below:
Travel Insurance:
Everybody who wishes to take part in the trip must provide their own valid travel insurance to cover the trip to China and send a copy to Tai Chi Centre by 1st July 2020.
Price and what is included:
The price for the trip is £1,850 (all inclusive). An initial payment of £350 is required to secure a place. The final balance is £1,500. Late booking charge is £150 (this is to cover the additional cost of making late travelling and accommodation bookings). Single supplement fee is £485 per person if applicable (subject to the availability). Additional stay is £135 per day.
An initial payment of £350 is a non-refundable deposit and administration charge, and should be paid upon your reservation . Final balance of £1500 should be paid in full by 31st May 2024. Bookings made after 31st May 2024 requires a £150 late booking surcharge.
Total Payment for the trip includes: Tuition fees for the training with Master Liming Yue, breakfast, main meals (excluding drinks and snack), accommodation, training insurance (subject to individual’s health condition and ages), all transportation (excluding the cable car at the tourism and taxis), and admission fees to all tourist attractions arranged by the trip organizer in China are covered. Travel insurance and visa applications are at your own cost and should be arranged by yourself. Tips of £35 per person is required and it will be collected at the beginning of the trip. The Tips is for the drivers, porter in the hotel and resturant staff during the trip.
Cancellation
Clients who make cancellation on any confirmed bookings will be liable for the following cancellation charges based on the time when we receive the notice of cancellation in writing.
A. Once booked the trip and cancelled 61 days prior to the departure date, the initial payment of £350 is non-refundable.
B. 31-60 days prior to departure date -50% of total cost.
C. 3-30 days prior to departure date -75% of total cost.
D. 3 days or less prior to departure date – 100% of total cost.
E. Early Termination during the Trip – 100% of total cost plus additional fees (such as flight ticket, transportation, administrative work etc..) and subject to availability.
Alteration to Arrangement
If, after acceptance of the booking, the customer alters the confirmed arrangements, an amendment fee of £100 per person plus any communication charges may be charged. If major alteration is required, the booking may be treated as a cancellation to which cancellation charges will apply.
Cancellation by the Tai Chi Centre
We reserve the right to cancel or alter holiday arrangements at any time up to and including the departure date. Full refund of all monies will be made in the event of cancellation. Cancellations will be notified to clients without reasonable delay.
Passport/Visa
Chinese visa are at your own resposible and for people who lives in the U.K. can be obtained at: http://www.visaforchina.org.uk
People from other countries please consult your local Chinese Embassy. As many countries have FREE visa to visit China for 15 days so you may entitle to visit China without visa. Please check with your local Chinese Embassy.
All clients are themselves responsible for ensuring that they are in possession of a valid passport and applicable visa at all times and places during the journey. Refunds or endorsement can not be claimed by clients who are rejected by local immigration for any reason.
Responsibility
As part of the China Trip Package the Chen Style Tai Chi Centre will arrange standard insurance to cover all the training abroad for all clients. However the Chen Style Tai Chi Centre acts only in the capacity of Agent for the clients in all arrangements. Expressly the Chen Style Tai Chi Centre shall not be liable for any injury, death, accident, loss, damage, or irregularity which may be occasioned by neglect or default of any other company, or additional expenses due to delays or changes in flights, trains, coaches or other services, or because of strike, war, sickness, weather, quarantine or other causes.
